Orbitz is one of my favorite third party websites to find great deals on hotels. As an added benefit Orbitz also has Disney’s on-site resorts on their site in addition to many of the off-site resorts. Over the past week they have been releasing a series of 15% off coupons which are good for most hotels you can book on their site (including Disney Resorts). [click to continue…]
During my last trip down to the World I had the chance to stay at the Hilton Bonnet Creek Resort as well as the Walt Disney World Dolphin (ready my review). Our first stay was at the Hilton Bonnet Creek during the marathon weekend, my first stay at the resort. I initially didn’t have much interest in staying at the Hilton Bonnet Creek honestly because I didn’t really know much about it but I ended up really enjoying my stay. [click to continue…]
I just returned from a long weekend trip down to Disney World for the Marathon weekend to spectate, not run thankfully. While I was down there I split my stay between the Hilton Bonnet Creek and Walt Disney World Dolphin so I could experience both resorts and review them for you. I just returned from a great trip down to the ‘World to watch my brother run the Disney 10k as part of the Marathon Weekend.
I wanted to share some thoughts, notes and observations from my trip along with some of the pictures I took while there. That means we’ll be seeing some new things coming soon which I’m very excited about. [click to continue…]
My next trip to Disney World will be for the Marathon weekend which is the weekend of January 9th, 2015. This year instead of running I’ll just be a spectator cheering on friends though the marathon bug may bite again – we’ll see.
With it now being the middle of the summer it’s time to start thinking about how I’m going to use miles and points to reduce the costs of my trip as much as possible. My next round of credit card applications is going to be completely for this trip so I’ll need to find cards that I can use to fly, stay and drive in Lake Buena Vista for as cheaply as possible.
