I have some exciting news to share with everyone today! While things have been a bit on the slower side here on the blog, I have been working non-stop behind the scenes to put together a book that has been in the works for the past six months. OIn early May, I’ll be releasing my first book, The Ultimate Guide to an Affordable Disney World Vacation. I’m really excited to finally be able to share this book with you, I think everyone will be able to have a much cheaper Disney World vacation after reading it.
Why Did I Write This Book?
I’ve spoken to many readers of Frugal Mouse, we’ve discussed many of the challenges they face when putting together a vacation to Disney World for their families. Even for families that make a good living, it sometimes can take years for them to be able to save up for a trip to Disney World. As we’ve seen recently with all of the price hikes such as seasonal one-day park ticket pricing and the Disney dining plan price increase, Disney has become even more expensive for everyday families.
I wrote this book to help cut the costs of a Disney vacation which will allow you to go more often, stay longer, and enjoy your trip without breaking the bank. This book will be a central resource to help you tackle the largest expenses for every Disney trip: travel, hotels, food, and tickets. I wrote this book to be for everyone, not just first-time visitors. You may be planning your first trip or 100th trip, I can guarantee you’ll learn something that can minimize the cost of your next trip.
Other money saving books & sites show you only how to save small by suggesting things like eating peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for dinner or purchasing a double cheeseburger and asking for an extra bun to make two burgers. Will you save a few dollars by doing that? Probably. Is that something you really want to do on a vacation? Absolutely not!
You won’t find tips like that in this book, only actionable guides to save you big money on the largest expenses.

Each chapter focuses on an area where you’ll be able to cut the most costs. Included in each chapter are step by step guides to walk you through the strategies to help save money on each of the areas below.
