Disney has released an extension to an interesting discount offer for 2015 specifically for families of three. With this offer they are targeting new families with their first child to encourage them to take a trip with their first born to Disney World. Interesting angle they’re taking with this discount, wonder if it will have much of an impact on families of three taking trips.

Enjoy a 3-night/2-day stay at select resorts standard room and theme park tickets for a family of 3 – for just $889 in value resorts. The price goes up as you choose the higher priced resorts. To take advantage of this offer you must book now through February 16, 2015 for stays most Sunday through Thursday nights April 12, 2015 through May 21, 2015 and May 25, 2015 through May 28, 2015. Book this same package most Sunday through Thursday nights from February 17, 2015 through March 28, 2015 for $909.

Is This a Good Deal?
I ran a few sample dates outside of the discounted date range to get a comparison to the prices with this promotion. I choose sample dates one week before the promotion started on February 22nd.
The full price dates came to $1,164.32 compared to $1,068.76 for dates within the promotion. That’s a savings of $95.76 – not that much but better than nothing. You should check on dates that you’re looking into because inventory at resorts and prices can vary greatly by date.
Non-discounted rate
As with any offer if you’re looking to take advantage I would book sooner than later – Disney only releases so many rooms that are eligible for this offer.
