Free dining has finally been announced by Disney!! I’ll get straight to the details which you’ve been waiting for.
To get the FREE Disney dining plan you will need to book a non-discounted (aka full price) Magic Your Way vacation package on the offer dates.

Rumors are flying that we will see a free Dining offer that will be released tomorrow. I have no other details at the moment except a lot of people are expecting some type of announcement tomorrow at some point.

I just returned from a long weekend trip down to Disney World for the Marathon weekend to spectate, not run thankfully. While I was down there I split my stay between the Hilton Bonnet Creek and Walt Disney World Dolphin so I could experience both resorts and review them for you. I also like to stay at different resorts during trips because I find it fun to experience new hotels, locations and amenities.
The Swan and Dolphin are interesting resorts – you use the official Disney transportation, get access to Extra Magic Hours but don’t get access to Magical Express and you can’t use Magic Bands at the resort. One of the better dining (and slightly cheaper) options at Disney Springs (formerly known as Downtown Disney) is the Earl of Sandwich. Earl of Sandwich recently rolled out their new loyalty program, Club Sandwich which is giving out one free sandwich after registering. In addition to the free sandwich when you sign up you also get a freebie on your birthday plus other “exclusive offers” when joining the club.

If you have a family you could register everyone for the club and get a free lunch or dinner for everyone at Downtown Disney. It’ll save you about $10 or so a person so a decent savings if you register everyone in your family to get a free sandwich.
It’s not too often that you get anything for free at Disney World so I would definitely take advantage of this offer!
