Disney World offers many vacation packages for 2015 depending on when you go and what exactly you are looking for during your vacation. Going with a Disney vacation package 2015 offers cost savings plus the convenience of booking everything at once. Kid-sized Package Offer
Families of three or four can take advantage of this offer for discounted room and tickets with stays at Disney’s All-Star Resorts.
- Families of 3: 3 nights at an All-Star Resort and a 2-day park ticket for $989
- Families of 4: 4 nights at an All-Star Resort and a 4-day park ticket for $1,843.
Available for stays select nights 6/16/15 – 8/13/15.
Is this a good offer?
When comparing similar dates without applying the package discount you will be saving about ~ 30%. I looked at a few dates in August with a 3-night stay at All-Star Music along with the 2-day park tickets, the total came to $1296. After applying the package discount that total came down to $896 which is about a 33% discount.
That’s a pretty good discount if you are a family of 3 or 4 and are able to take advantage. I wasn’t able to replicate the low price of $889 but prices were pretty much in-line with what Disney was promoting with this offer.
Disney World Free Dining Package 2015
Another Disney World Vacation Package 2015 is the free dining promotion for 2015 gives you the Disney dining package for free when booking a full priced Magic Your Way Disney vacation package. The dining package is normally $35/person/night so even with the full price packages the free dining can really give a good savings.
Available Offer Dates:
- 8/28/15 – 10/2/15
- 10/25/15 – 10/31/15
- 11/8/15 – 11/19/15
- 12/15/15 – 12/21/15
Your check in date must fall within one of the offer dates for your stay to be eligible for the free dining package. If you check in during the offer dates but your stay extends outside of the dates you can have the free dining the whole time.
If the second half of your stay lands within the offer dates you can call up Disney to split your stay so you can at least have free dining during the second half of your stay.
A minimum stay of 3 nights along with a minimum of 2 day park tickets are required for your stay.
Disney Value resort guest will get the quick service dining plan for free, if you are at a moderate or deluxe resort you get the standard dining package for free. If you are at a value resort you can upgrade to the full package for an additional $18.65 (adults)/$3.20 (child) per night.
There are some excluded resorts that are not eligible for the free dining plan:
- Bay Lake Tower
- Villas at Grand Floridian
- Villas at Polynesian Village
- Port Orleans French Quarter
- All-Star Movies
- Little Mermaid (i.e. Standard) rooms at Art of Animation Resort
- Campsites and 3-bedroom villas
- Port Orleans Riverside – only available from 8/28/15 – 10/2/15.

What if I’m already booked?
If your stay is during the free dining period you can call up Disney to switch packages. You can also switch your dates so they land during the free dining period.
Magic Your Way Packages
The standard Disney vacation package that is offered by Disney is their Magic Your Way package. This is their branding for a bundle of room + park ticket plus and additional items you choose to add onto your package. At a minimum when you book a Magic Your Way package you get access to all of the perks that go along with staying on-site: extra magic hours, transportation plus many other features.
What’s great about booking a Magic Your way Disney vacation package is you also get access to use MyMagic+ which gives you Fastpass+ and a MagicBand to go along with your trip.
Fastpass+ will allow you to pre-book Fastpasses for certain attractions before you even arrive so you can walk right onto the rides without waiting. The MagicBand you wear around your wrist is your room key, your Fastpass+ entry and you can even charge things in the parks with your MagicBand.
The Magic Your Way packages come in all different shapes and sizes so you can customize them to your liking and budget. The longer you stay the cheaper per day it is but keep in mind it’s also more food and overall more cost you’ll be adding as well.
